Skype for Android Reviews

There a number of places that have reviewed Skype for Android phones and tablets. I thought it would be useful to pull them together in one place.

PC Mag – 3.5 out of 5 – Good

“…Ultimately, this latest update to Skype is a step in the right direction. Next to ooVoo, these are the best video calls I’ve experienced on Android….”

Download Net  - 3.5 out 5 – Good

“..We were already impressed years ago when Skype was first introduced on a full OS, but when its video call features are applied on a mobile OS, it gets even better…”

Play Google – 3 out 5 – Good

“…Make free Skype-to-Skype video calls, and call phones at Skype rates on the move

Free voice and video calls to anyone else on Skype, whether they’re on an Android, iPhone, Mac or PC, as well as IMs to your friends and family, no matter where they are…”

Android Community – No rating – Good

“…Calls sound great between phone and phone as well as between phone and computer, (that’s what you’re seeing in the photograph above,) the same goes for video. Video isn’t the greatest thing in the world, but it’s certainly as good as Tango…”

PC Advisor – 4 out 5 – Good

“…Text chatting in Skype for Android works just like most instant messaging services. You can connect to several people at once in the same chat. However, you can’t send photos or files using this VoIP service, which is disappointing….”
